We need to lobby the “Hollywood Elite” to rehire James Woods, so that he can be remembered for things like his portrayal of Father McFeely, rather than his Twitter page.
For whatever reason, James Woods decided to hang up his acting shoes a few years ago and make attacking President Obama his full-time vocation. I suppose it could be seen as a form of protest: by not earning money, he hasn’t “had” to pay much in the way of taxes for a few years now. It’s either that or “business acumen“.
Since originally hitching his wagon to the failed candidacy of Carly Fiorina, then to Ted Cruz, James decided to not apply the Midas touch of his endorsement to Donald Trump, but has spent his time attacking the candidacy of her opponent, Hillary Clinton. Fair enough — many of us who would have preferred to see Bernie on the ticket are now supporting Hillary in large part because we fear what a Trump Presidency would do to our nation.
And I will say this before continuing – when one of James Woods’ Twitter followers made threatening remarks about President Obama, he was quick to defend the office of the presidency, no matter the occupant.

So what’s the issue?
James Woods’ duplicity on Wikileaks
Pinned to the top of his Twitter profile, James Woods declares that “it’s truly astonishing that some guy hiding in the Ecuadorean Embassy is doing more for TRUTH in this election than all the American press.”

The thing is, while James has been occupying his time as of late reading through John Podesta’s leaked emails, he has already been quite clear of his disdain for leaks coming from the establishment, or at the very least, the leakers themselves.
After all, how has has James reacted towards some Private did something that they thought they was doing for TRUTH (in James’ words) and leaked information to that very same guy that’s holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy?
It is so poetically perfect that the NYTimes quotes documents stolen by traitor Bradley Manning for this fluff job. http://t.co/0bw2qmmwGI

Bradley Manning, Edward Snowden, Hillary Clinton, Cheryl Mills, Huma Weiner, Sidney Blumenthal. Nice national security apparatus we have…

It’s hard to reconcile.
On one hand, James declares as Wikileaks as being an agent of “TRUTH” while on the other hand, he has been relentless in blasting Chelsea Manning as a traitor for doing essentially the same exact thing as whoever happened to provide the email troves to Wikileaks and DCLeaks that he is so eagerly reading.
Apparently, it’s more appalling to James that the American People find out what is being done in their own name (and paid for with their tax dollars), than it is to have our rivals on the world stage openly operating in support of one particular candidate.
Makes me wonder, would James have applauded the guy holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy had Carly Fiorina or Ted Cruz been the target of the leaks? Judging by his reaction toward Manning, I think not.
And that is why I think James needs to start working again, and doing more than just narrating cheesy campaign videos for Carly Fiorina.
